Transportation: it is a 5 minute walk from an Oakland bus line (the 75 line takes 25m to get to the Carnegie Mellon campus) and a 12 minute drive to campus. The apartment is available from August 17, 2025 to May 31, 2026. This would be a sublease; the current tenant will be out of town for a Fellowship opportunity during this time. Looking for an individual or a couple who is quiet, studious, neat, and has a green thumb - to water and maintain the plants Note that there are personal items in the photos which will be removed for incoming tenant(s).
The neighborhood is extremely walkable: within a 5-20 minute walk there are four coffeeshops, a grocery store, drug store, and many bars and restaurants. It is ten minutes from the Great Allegheny Passage Trail which goes from downtown Pittsburgh to Washington, DC; great for a bike ride, walk, or run next to the river. It is in a quiet section of the neighborhood called the “hollow.” There is a train nearby that passes multiple times a day, but one gets used to it. Beautiful apartment, wonderful location.
